The Sannes (Sandnes) Family history

Johan Ludvig Theodore Andreasen was born into a family of fishermen on the Sandnes Farm in Gratangen, Troms, Norway, June 18th, 1871. In 1895, at the age of 23 Johan immigrated to America and took the last name of Sandnes. Johan settled in NW Minnesota where he met his wife Clara Thopson, and the name was changed to Sannes somewhere along the way. Johan passed away in 1965 at the age of 94 years, 9 months, and 27 days.
